The Unusual Case of the Woman with Two Vaginas

This woman discovered at age 27 she has very rare anatomy. Her body is equipped with 2 vaginas, 2 uteruses, and 2 cervixes.   

Imagine you are 27 years old, married and willing to have a baby. Unfortunately, the first tentative ends up to be a miscarriage. Doctors were surprised to discover some unique composition of the body. Different from other women you have two vaginas, two uteruses, and two cervixes. 

This is what happened to an elementary teacher from Michigan, USA. She made her case public to help other women in the world facing similar challenges.  

But, this is not the most inexplicable part of the story. Medical science is aware of her rare condition called: condition uterus didelphys. What deeply surprises me is how come she never knew about such a condition. Even if she is the healthier person in the world, at least after birth she should have been carefully checked by the doctors. Still, the elementary teacher swears she was not aware at all. 

After hearing about her condition, she was afraid of not having babies. But God blessed her family with a beautiful baby girl, ending her anxiety to become a mother. The baby is perfect and very sweet. While the new mother says she has now accepting her situation and is learning how to best cope with it.   

This case was completely new to me, as I have never heard about a woman having two vaginas. I heard about other cases where women had two wombs and had parallel pregnancies. I even know cases when a person was born with both gender organs. But the case of two vaginas is completely novel to me. So, I thought to share it with all of you guys.
