"Run to the rescue with love and peace will follow" - these were the last words in his acceptance speech of 2020 Best Actor Oscar winner, Joachin Phoenix.
His brilliant play as Joker rewarded him with the first Oscar Prize in his career.
The 45 years old actor and producer used his speech to address some important messages about environmental issues and standings. And what stage is better than the Oscar Ceremony to appeal to the whole world.
"When we use love and compassion as our guiding principles, we can create, develop and implement systems of change that are beneficial to all sent yet beings and to the environment."
The most touchy part of his speech was the moment when he remembered with tears in eyes his late brother, the actor River Phoenix.
I always hated Joker as a character, as it represented the real evil on a human suit. And this is probably the reason why Joachin Phoenix has today in his hands the so-much-desired Oscar Statue.
Well done Joachin! Totaly deserved award!
