Californian Man killed his Family for Insurance Money

California is shocked by the story of Karl Karlsen, the man who killed his wife and son to get life insurance money. 

The monster of California saw his family as a way to make business. His story started by killing his wife in 1991 to get $200,000 from her life insurance policy. Certainly, he made his crime look like a house accident. She died trapped in a bathroom with a boarded-up window. No doubts were raised for her death from police and insurance at that time. 

17 years later, Karl Karlsen decided to repeat his business by using his son's life insurance policy. His 23 years old son died in an accident. Unfortunately, he was crushed under a truck that fell off a jack. This time, the sum he took from the life insurance policy was $700,000. Prosecutors charged him for his son's death and sentenced him with 15 years in prison. 

It was his second wife which helped the police to investigate both deaths in Karlsen's family. She was afraid for her own life as her life insurance policy was an even better business. Her life was assured of $1.2 million. Definitely, a good reason for her husband to kill her too.      

Still, in prison, Karl Karlsen is now in a new court process for the death of his first wife. Public opinion is that he will get life imprisoned this time. March will be the time when the court will give its decision.   

A terrible story that desecrates the sanctity of family. The monster-father did not stop his thirst for money even in front of his son's life. I always wonder why people like this monster become parents. They do not deserve to feel the family warmness and the miracle of having a child. They are the reason why people live their lives in fear.
