Who is going to produce the First the Most-Wanted Vaccine

A vaccine to combat the novel COVID-19 is what the whole world population is praying for. Scientists in different parts of the world are already working very hard on that. We have Chinese scientists claiming to be near the finalization of the first vaccine. Australian scientists were among the first to focus on the DNA of the virus and its reproduction in lab conditions. German scientists are claiming to have already started testings on humans. While American scientists announced for the beginning of testings on humans just today.

All these are very good news for all people scared of the deadly virus. Unfortunately, scientists are working separately, thus are not gaining from the synergy of the group. But, where do we stand with the vaccine against coronavirus?

These days I've learned so much about the technicalities of the vaccine production processes 😀. Some scientists follow the old school model to build the vaccine by the weakened virus. Others use the approach of building the new vaccine based on the existing flu vaccines and adapting them with the characteristics of the new virus. Other scientists, like the Dutch ones, have focused their attention on finding a medication to treat the COVID-19.

But, one thing is commonly confirmed by all vaccine experts: "The new coronavirus vaccine with being ready at best by the end of 2021". Said differently, we cannot count on the vaccine protection even for next winter.

That being said, we should praise 45 healthy volunteers in the USA, that started today to test the new vaccine produced by the biotechnology company, Moderna Therapeutics in the USA. I seriously wonder if I have enough courage to follow their example. They allow physicians to purposely infect them by injecting the experimental vaccine in the arm. The observation of their health situation will help scientists assess the quality of the vaccine.

I'm not a particular fan of any of the scientists' group working on this matter. I hope everything goes well and we astonish ourselves with the fastest vaccine ever produced so far.

Let's cross the fingers for all scientists, which are dedicating an enormous amount of time and energy for producing the new vaccine against coronavirus. God bless them and their work!
