No more McDonald's UK? - Tough Life People

McDonald's Management announced they will be closing all their UK branches starting March 23. This is a voluntary closure, under the new circumstances of coronavirus spreading in the country.  

Even though the well-known chain had already closed its table-setting services, seems they found unsafe to continue serving to customers. Both last service lines, the take way, and drive-through did not assure proper respecting of social distancing rule. The company took the hard business decision keeping full responsibility for the safety of staff and customers.

But, McDonald's is not the only one shutting down operations in the UK. Other well-known brands are doing the same. I'm talking about: Nando's,  Costa Coffee, Sushi Chain Itsu, and Sandwich Bar Subway. And, this makes the news even worse. Life is not going to be the same anymore in the UK.

"What are we going to eat?" is the question raised by worried customers. And this is a real challenge nowadays when all restaurants, cafes and now take away shops are closed. Come on, guys! It's easy!  Homemade food is the name of the game now. Fortunately, there are endless recipes around the net, that will not leave you hungry during coronavirus period. Coronavirus crisis has just started to pick up in Europe and no one is able to forecast its exact longevity. So, until our preferred restaurants will feel safe to open up again, let's enjoy some creative time with home cooking. Who knows, many of us might find out food preparation stimulating and relaxing.
